    Article 1

    Article (1) Definitions For the purposes of implementing the provisions of this Resolution, the following terms and expressions shall have the meanings assigned to each of them, unless the context requires otherwise: State : The United Arab Emirates. Ministry : The Ministry of Economy and Tourism. Minister : The Minister of Economy and Tourism.

    Article (2) Service Fees Fees shall be collected in consideration for the services provided by the Ministry and listed in the schedule attached to this Resolution, in accordance with the fees specified opposite each service.

    Article (3) Administrative fines S/N Violation Description Administrative Fine (AED) 1 Delay in annotating amendments of commercial agents register data for more than (60) days from the date of the amendment. 100 for each month of delay, up to a maximum of 1,000 annually. 2 Delay in paying the trademark registration fees. 1,000 for each month of delay, up to a maximum of 10,000 annually. 3 Delay in paying trademark publication fees for more than (30) days from the date of receipt of the decision approving the publication. 100 for each month of delay, up to a maximum of 1,000 annually.

    Article 4

    Article (4) Grievance Any interested party may submit a written grievance to the Ministry against any administrative fine referred to in Article (3) of this Resolution that has been imposed thereon, within ten (10) working days from the date of notification of the contested decision, provided that the grievance is reasoned and accompanied by all supporting documents. The grievance shall be decided upon within twenty (20) days from the date of its submission, in accordance with the procedures applicable at the Ministry.

    Article 5

    Article (5) Amending Administrative Fees and Fines The Cabinet shall be competent to make any amendments to the administrative fees and fines stipulated in this Resolution, whether by addition, deletion, or modification.

    Article 6

    Article (6) Final Provisions a. The fees and fines set out in this Resolution shall be collected through the means determined by the Ministry of Finance. b. The Minister of Finance shall, in coordination with the Minister, allocate a portion of the technical examination fees for patents referred to in the Schedule of Fees attached to this Resolution, for the purpose of covering patent-related costs, provided that the revenues resulting from such fees shall accrue to the State Public Treasury. c. For the purpose of collecting the administrative fees and fines set out in Articles (2) and (3) of this Resolution, a part of a day shall be deemed a full day, and the part of a month shall be deemed…

    Article 7

    Article (7) Executive Resolutions The Minister shall issue the resolutions necessary for the implementation of the provisions of this Resolution.

    Article 8

    Article (8) Repeals 1. Except for the Cabinet Resolution No. (19) of 2013 Regarding the Fees Prescribed for the Issuance of State Certificates for Rough Diamonds, Cabinet Resolution No. (51) of 2019 Regarding the Fees for the Services Provided by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism shall be repealed.

    Article 9
