Milad Mevlevi
In 2022, I needed legal help myself. Searching for “lawyers near me” gave me listings, but I struggled to find verifiable credentials, reviews I could trust and biographies that helped me choose. That experience inspired LEXAI.
Milad studied International Business at the University of Salford. His aim with LEXAI is to make it easier for people to assess legal professionals before contacting them.

Four rules. Four mechanisms. Zero slogans.
Trust isn't a marketing word here. These are four defaults, each written to match what the platform actually does.
One badge, one meaning.
Any lawyer can list a profile once they confirm their email. The Verified badge is separate: it appears only after our team has checked the practising licence or bar card the lawyer uploaded. Where we have the expiry date, we remind the lawyer before it and alert our team when it passes.
The profile is the lawyer's own words.
Practice areas, jurisdictions, languages, years of experience and office address are entered by the lawyer. They are not part of our licence check, so read them as the lawyer's own description.
Direct line to the lawyer.
You message lawyers directly. The lawyer publishes a consultation fee on their profile if they choose to — informational only, set by the lawyer, paid to the lawyer off-platform. LEXAI doesn't insert itself between you and your lawyer.
Two languages, built in.
Arabic and English, native both. Filter for Arabic-English legal help, for an Urdu-speaking tenancy lawyer, for a French-speaking corporate lawyer. Your language isn't an afterthought here — it's a search filter.
HOW WE VERIFY
What the Verified badge means — and what it does not.
Listing is open to any lawyer who confirms their email. The Verified badge is a separate check, done by a person, and it shows you who has passed it.
VERIFIED
One badge. One check behind it.
When a profile carries the Verified badge, our team has checked that lawyer's practising licence or bar card. A profile without the badge has not passed that check. Everything else on a profile is the lawyer's own description.
Licence, reviewed by a person.
The lawyer uploads a practising licence or bar card. A member of our team reviews it and, if it is accepted, the profile gets the Verified badge. If it is rejected, the badge is removed.
Profile details, self-declared.
Practice areas, languages, experience and office details come from the lawyer. They are not part of the licence check, so treat them as the lawyer's own description.
Expiry dates, watched daily.
Where we have a licence expiry date, a daily job reminds the lawyer 30, 14 and 7 days before it and alerts our team when it passes. Our team then decides what to do; nothing is suspended automatically.
Reviews tied to real conversations.
Every review on LEXAI is attached to a signed-in client account — never anonymous, and never purchasable. Reviews we can tie to a real enquiry sent through the platform carry a "Verified enquiry" mark, so you can see which ones came from someone who actually made contact.
