Refund & Cancellation Policy

Lawyer subscriptions (Preferred / Spotlight)

Subscriptions are billed monthly in AED and can be cancelled at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no further charges are made. Because you can cancel at any time and keep access until the period ends, we do not offer refunds or partial-month refunds on subscription charges.

If you believe you were charged in error — for example a duplicate charge, or a charge after a confirmed cancellation — contact us and we will investigate; verified billing errors are always refunded in full.

Certified translation orders

You pay only after previewing your translation. Once a translation is delivered, the work is complete and the fee is non-refundable, except where the delivered document is materially defective — contact us and we will review every such case individually. Where a full refund is issued, the verification certificate for that translation is revoked.

Free services

Browsing the directory, contacting lawyers, and the AI legal assistant are free — no charges, so no refunds apply. LEXAI never handles payments between you and a lawyer; any arrangement for legal work is directly between you and the professional you choose.
