Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help us remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and — only with your consent — understand how you use our platform.
Cookies We Use
We use the following types of cookies:
- Session cookies — Keep you logged in during your visit. These are essential and cannot be disabled.
- Authentication cookies — Securely maintain your login session across page loads.
- Preference cookies (language) — Remember your language choice (EN/AR) and display direction (LTR/RTL).
- Analytics cookies (optional, consent-based) — Help us understand how visitors use LEXAI, which pages are most popular, and where users encounter issues. Set only after you grant consent through the cookie banner.
- Advertising & conversion-measurement cookies (optional, consent-based) — When you accept cookies, Google's tag may set cookies to measure how LEXAI's advertising campaigns perform — for example, whether an ad led you to reserve a founding-member spot. Set only after you grant consent through the cookie banner; never during essential-only browsing.
Required vs Optional Cookies
Required cookies (session, authentication, language) are essential for the platform to function. You cannot opt out of these.
Optional cookies (analytics, additional preferences) can be granted or denied through the cookie consent banner. Disabling optional cookies may affect personalisation features but will not prevent you from using LEXAI.
Cookie Consent
When you first visit LEXAI, a consent banner will appear asking you to accept all cookies or continue with essential cookies only. This is required under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
Your choice is saved in your browser and recorded in our database so we can honour it across visits. You can change your mind at any time:
- Clear this site's data (cookies and site storage) in your browser settings — the consent banner will appear again on your next visit
- Adjust your browser's cookie settings to block optional cookies
Third-Party Cookies
When — and only when — you accept cookies through our banner, LEXAI loads three consent-gated analytics and measurement services:
- Google's advertising and measurement tags (Google Ads) — to understand how our advertising campaigns perform, such as whether an ad led you to reserve a founding-member spot. Google may set cookies and receive event data for this purpose.
- Microsoft Clarity — a session-replay and heat-mapping service that helps us understand where visitors struggle on the site. Clarity may set its own cookies.
- PostHog (EU-hosted) — product analytics that helps us understand which features are used. PostHog may store a small identifier in your browser.
If you choose essential-only, none of these load, no advertising or measurement cookies are set, and we do not embed social-media widgets that would set such cookies during normal public browsing.
A limited number of operational cookies may be set by our authentication provider (for secure session management). If a lawyer starts a subscription checkout, they are taken to our payment provider's own secure checkout page, where that provider may set fraud-prevention cookies on its own domain — not on lexaidxb.com. These are operational, not advertising.
For a complete list of every third-party service we use and the data each one receives, see our Sub-processors page at https://lexaidxb.com/legal/sub-processors.
How to Manage Cookies
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using certain features.
For more information on managing cookies in your browser, visit your browser's help documentation.
