Our Commitment
LEXAI is committed to making our platform accessible to people of all abilities. We design and develop with inclusion in mind and work to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA wherever feasible.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We test continuously, learn from user feedback, and ship improvements alongside every release.
Standards and Measures
We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. Specific measures in place include:
- Semantic HTML structure with correct landmarks and headings
- Keyboard navigation support across every page and dialog
- Screen-reader compatible labels on form fields, icons, and interactive elements
- Sufficient color contrast for text and meaningful UI states
- Scalable text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- No auto-playing media or content that flashes more than three times per second
- Respect for the user's reduced-motion preference (prefers-reduced-motion)
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- A skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users
Bilingual and RTL Support
Every page on LEXAI is available in English and Arabic with proper right-to-left (RTL) layout. We use CSS logical properties (start/end, margin-inline, padding-inline) throughout the platform to ensure consistent behavior across both reading directions.
Arabic typography uses Noto Sans Arabic, sized and spaced to match the visual weight of Latin text on the same page.
Known Limitations
Some areas of the platform may still need accessibility improvements. Known limitations include:
- Third-party embedded content (such as some external maps or document viewers) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA
- Older legal documents uploaded as PDFs may not be fully tagged for screen readers
We are actively working to address these and welcome feedback on anything we have missed.
