Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all users of the LEXAI platform — clients, lawyers, law firms, and administrators. By using LEXAI, you agree to comply with this policy.

Platform Integrity

To maintain the trust and reliability of the LEXAI marketplace:

  • No fake profiles — Every account must represent a real person or registered entity
  • No impersonation — Do not pretend to be another person, lawyer, firm, or entity
  • No false credentials — Lawyers must provide accurate and verifiable professional credentials, Emirates ID numbers, bar licence details, and DIFC/ADGM registration numbers. Submitting falsified documents is grounds for immediate and permanent ban.
  • No misleading information — Profile details, experience claims, fee amounts, and availability must be truthful and current

Communication Rules

When communicating through LEXAI:

  • No harassment, bullying, threats, discrimination, or abusive language toward any user
  • No solicitation of users off-platform to bypass LEXAI fees. If you were introduced to a client or lawyer through LEXAI, your professional interactions related to that introduction should remain on the platform.
  • No sharing of personal contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, social media) in public areas of the platform specifically to circumvent platform booking and payment flows
  • All messages and content must be appropriate for a professional legal services environment

Payment Compliance

  • Do not circumvent Stripe payment processing for consultations booked through LEXAI
  • Do not arrange direct off-platform payments for services that were booked through the LEXAI platform
  • Do not use fraudulent payment methods or dispute legitimate charges with your bank while simultaneously receiving the service
  • All consultation fees must be accurately represented — the price shown on your profile must match what clients are charged

AI Usage Rules

When using LEXAI's AI tools:

  • Do not attempt to use AI features to generate content that substitutes for professional legal consultation. AI tools provide general legal information, not advice.
  • Do not upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content for AI analysis
  • Do not generate fraudulent legal documents, fake credentials, or misleading legal content
  • Do not submit AI-generated content as human-written professional advice without review and verification
  • Do not use AI tools to circumvent platform rules or policies

Lawyer-Specific Rules

Lawyers on the LEXAI platform must:

  • Maintain valid, non-expired professional credentials at all times. Expired documents will trigger automatic account suspension until renewed documents are uploaded and verified.
  • Respond to booking requests within 12 hours. Failing to respond causes the request to expire and negatively affects your acceptance rate, which impacts your search ranking and visibility.
  • Provide accurate fee information on your profile
  • Mark consultations as complete promptly after they conclude
  • Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or areas of practice

Client-Specific Rules

Clients on the LEXAI platform must:

  • Provide truthful case descriptions when booking consultations or using AI tools
  • Not abuse the dispute system by filing frivolous or bad-faith disputes. Repeated unfounded disputes may result in account suspension.
  • Attend scheduled consultations or cancel in advance
  • Treat lawyers and other users with professional respect

Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in account suspension or permanent ban at the discretion of the LEXAI admin team.

  • Minor violations: written warning, followed by suspension for repeat offences
  • Serious violations (fraud, credential falsification, impersonation): immediate permanent ban
  • The LEXAI admin team reviews flagged content and reported violations within 48 hours

If you encounter a violation of this policy:

  • Use the in-platform reporting features to flag messages or content for admin review
  • Email details to support@lexaidxb.com
  • Contact us through the Contact page

All reports are reviewed by our admin team within 48 hours. Reporter identity is kept confidential.
