Immigration Blacklist
القائمة السوداء
The immigration blacklist is the register maintained by UAE immigration authorities of individuals barred from entering the country or, in some configurations, from leaving it pending resolution of a matter. Names enter the list through deportation orders, criminal judgments, security decisions, absconding and serious overstay cases, and court-ordered measures in civil and financial disputes. Being listed surfaces in brutal, practical ways: visa applications silently rejected, denial of boarding, or being stopped at the border — often the first time the person learns of the flag. Removal depends on the listing source: court-based entries need the underlying judgment resolved and a lifting order, immigration-based entries need an application or exemption to the relevant authority, and federal-versus-Dubai ownership of the record determines where to apply. Status checks through official channels or a lawyer's enquiry are the essential first step before booking travel or filing any visa application.
