Article (1) The standard specification No. (UAE.S 5104:2016) concerning the safety requirements for modified vehicles and the standard specification No. (UAE.S GSO 42:2015) concerning the general requirements for cars, shall both be considered as standard specifications of mandatory application in the United Arab Emirates.

Article (2) The concerned authorities shall implement this resolution, and correct its status in compliance with its provisions within (180) days as of its enforcement date.

Article (3) This resolution shall be published in the official gazette, and shall come into force as of the day following its date of publication. Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Prime Minister Issued by us: Date: 23 / Safar / 1438 AH Corresponding: 23 / November / 2016 AD
