    Title and Name Change: Name Change

    Article 1

    Article (1) The title “Executive Director” is hereby replaced by “Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors”, and the name “Board of Directors” is hereby replaced by “Board of Executive Directors”, wherever mentioned in the above-mentioned Law No. (17) of 2005 and in any other legislation in force in the Emirate of Dubai.

    Article (2) Article (9) of the above-mentioned Law No. (17) of 2005 is hereby superseded by the following:

    Article (3) This Law comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Ruler of Dubai Issued in Dubai on 11 May 2015 Corresponding to 22 Rajab 1436 A.H.

    Title and Name Change: Name Change

    Article 9

    Article (9) The RTA will have a Board of Executive Directors comprised of the Director General and the chief executive officers of the agencies and sectors affiliated to the RTA. The Board of Executive Directors will be appointed pursuant to a decree of the Ruler. ©2015 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict the Arabic text will prevail.
