    Article 1

    Article (1) A free zone is hereby established at Al Quoz Industrial Area in Dubai. The area and boundaries of the free zone are demarcated on the plan attached to this Law.

    Article 2

    Article (2) The free zone referred to in the preceding Article is hereby amalgamated into the Jebel Ali Free Zone and deemed part thereof. The above-mentioned free zone will be managed by the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority in accordance with the laws, regulations, orders, and resolutions in force in the Jebel Ali Free Zone. ©2021 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1 Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict, the Arabic text will prevail.

    Article 3

    Article (3) This Law comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette. Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum Ruler of Dubai Issued in Dubai on 1 May 2001 Corresponding to 7 Safar 1422 A.H.
