    Article (1) Article (10) of the above-mentioned Law No. (1) of 1997 is hereby superseded by the following:

    Article (2) This Law will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published.     Article 10

    Article (10) Without prejudice to any stricter penalty prescribed by the Penal Code or any other law, any person who violates the provisions of this Law or the regulations issued in pursuance hereof will be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred thousand Dirhams (AED 100,000.00). An additional penalty of temporary or permanent closure of the violating facility may also be imposed.
