    Article 1

    Article (1) Definitions In application of the provisions herein, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings ascribed thereto, unless the context requires otherwise: State : United Arab Emirates. Emirate : Any Emirate of the State. Authority : Civil Aviation Authority. Competent Authority : The local authorities that are concerned with civil aviation affairs in the Emirate. Government Entities : Ministries, public authorities and institutions, federal and local government departments.

    Cabinet Resolution of 2024 Concerning the Fees of Services for Drones for Civil Use and Related Activities 2 Person : Natural or legal person. Drone : Any machine, vehicle or similar object that can fly without pilot on board, is controlled remotely or autonomously, its control systems are considered part thereof, and is used for civil purposes. Decree-Law : Federal Decree-Law No. (26) of 2022, Regulating the Civil Use of Drones and Related Activities.

    Article 2

    Article (2) Service Fee 1. These shall be collected for the services provided by the Authority as an execution of competences designated for such authority in the Decree-Law. Fees designated for each of such services shall be as stipulated in the manner attached to this Resolution: a. In the Emirate that does not have a competent authority. b. In the Emirate where a competent authority exists and does not provide services that relate to drones for civil use and related activities, until the competent authority performs its competences stipulated in the Decree-Law. 2. The Government of each Emirate shall impose the fees for the competent authority within the Emirate to perform its competences set forth in the Decree-Law and shall determine the methods of collecting such fees.

    Article 3

    Article (3) Fee Collection 1. The Authority shall collect fees stipulated in this Resolution through the methods decided by the Ministry of Finance. 2. The competent authority in each Emirate shall coordinate and notify the Authority in writing concerning its desire to perform competences assigned to the competent authority subject to the Decree-Law and to collect the related fees in accordance with the resolutions and procedures applicable in the Emirate.

    Article 4

    Article (4) Fee Amendment The Cabinet has the power to make any amendments to the fees attached herein, whether by addition, deletion or amendment.

    Article 5

    Article (5) Executive Resolutions The Chairman, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, shall issue the resolutions and procedures necessary to enforce the provisions of this Resolution.

    Article 6

    Article (6) Repeals Any provision that violates or contradicts the provisions of this Resolution shall be repealed.

    Article 7

    Article (7) Publication and Entry into Force This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall be enforced after (30) thirty days as of the date of its publication.
