Article (5) a. Medals are as follows: 1. Medal of Valour (one class); 2. Dubai Police Medal (five (5) classes); 3. Loyal Service Medal (two (2) classes); 4. Dubai Police Golden Jubilee Medal (one class - made of gold); and 5. Order of Excellent Service (two (2) classes); 2. Order of Security Cooperation (two (2) classes); and 3. any other orders determined by the Chief. c. Badges are as follows: 1. Badge of Appreciation (two (2) classes); and 2. any other badges determined by the Chief.

Article (9) a. Loyal Service Medals will be awarded to the paramilitary staff of the Dubai Police force, including commissioned officers, Non-commissioned Officers, and recruits, who have completed a period of at least ten (10) years of uninterrupted actual service during which they have been committed to the higher values and ideals of the force. 1. First Class: Awarded to commissioned officers (made of gold) 2. Second Class: Awarded to Non-commissioned Officers and recruits (made of Silver) Where this medal is granted more than once, a distinguishing mark denoting the same will be added to the awarded medal and insignia. b. Dubai Police Golden Jubilee Medals will be awarded to the paramilitary or civilian Staff Members of the Dubai Police force, including commissioned officers, Non-commissioned Officers, and recruits, who have completed a period of at least twenty-five (25) years of uninterrupted actual service by 31 May 2006. c. The Dubai Expo 2020 Medal will be awarded to the Staff Members of the Dubai Police force, including commissioned officers, Non-commissioned Officers, and recruits, as well as to members of the public and paramilitary officers from outside of the Dubai Police force, who have provided great services and made outstanding contribution during the hosting of the Dubai Expo 2020.
