    Article (1) The following land plots, whose boundaries and areas are demarcated on the plans attached to this Decree, are hereby amalgamated into the Jebel Ali Free Zone: 1. Plot No. (1416), Jumeirah First; ©2023 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1 Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict, the Arabic text will prevail.

    Article 2

    Article (2) a. The land plots referred to in Article (1) of this Decree are hereby deemed free zones. These free zones and the companies and establishments which are licensed to operate therein will be governed by the following legislation and the resolutions issued in pursuance thereof: 1. the above-mentioned Law No. (1) of 1980;

The Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority will exercise its powers under the legislation referred to in paragraph (a) of this Article, the resolutions issued in pursuance thereof, and other legislation in force in the Emirate within the land plots referred to in Article (1) of this Decree; and over the companies and establishments licensed by the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority to operate in these land plots. Concessions and Exemptions

    Article 3

    Article (3) The companies and establishments licensed to operate in the land plots referred to in Article (1) of this Decree will enjoy the concessions and exemptions prescribed under the legislation referred to in Article (2) of this Decree and other relevant legislation in force in the Emirate. Compliance

    Article 4

    Article (4) All companies and establishments licensed to operate in the land plots referred to in Article (1) of this Decree must comply with its provisions within no later than three (3) months from the effective date hereof. The Chairman of the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation may, where required, extend this grace period for the same period. Publication and Commencement

    Article 5
