DIFC Wills Service Centre
مركز وصايا مركز دبي المالي العالمي
The DIFC Wills Service Centre lets non-Muslims register English-language wills that direct how their UAE assets pass on death — overriding the default application of Sharia-based inheritance rules to those assets. Operating with the DIFC Courts, the centre registers several will types covering real estate, bank accounts, company shares, guardianship of minor children, and full estates. A registered will gives executors a clear common law probate route through the DIFC Courts, producing orders enforceable against banks, the Dubai Land Department and other asset holders. Expatriate property owners and parents of young children are the typical users; the alternative is a notarised will in the local courts system. Private client lawyers treat DIFC will registration as a core estate-planning step for non-Muslim residents with Dubai or RAK assets.
