    Article 1

    Article (1) Definitions In applying the provisions of this Resolution, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings assigned thereto, unless the context otherwise requires: Ministry : Ministry of Justice. Profession : Translation Profession stipulated in Article (1) of this Decree- Law. Translator : A natural person who practices the profession of translation and shall be registered in the List. Translation House : A private legal person licensed to practice the translation profession in the State and registered in the List, including Local and International Translation Houses. Decree-Law : Federal Decree-Law No. (22) of 2022 Regulating the Translation Profession.

    Article 2

    Article (2) Service Fee In consideration of the services provided by the Ministry to Translators and Translation Houses as shown in the List attached herein, the fees assigned thereto shall be collected.

    Article 3

    Article (3) Fee Amendment The Cabinet has the power to make any amendments to the fees mentioned herein, whether by addition, deletion or amendment.

    Article 4

    Article (4) Fee Collection 1. Fees stipulated in this Resolution shall be collected through the methods decided by the Ministry of Finance. 2. For the purposes of collecting the fees stipulated in this Resolution, part of a month shall be considered a full month, and part of a year shall be considered a full year.

    Article 5

    Article (5) Repeals Cabinet Resolution No. (41) of 2016 Concerning the Fees of Services Provided by the Ministry of Justice to Translators shall be repealed, as well as any provision that conflicts and contradicts with the provisions of this resolution.

    Article 6

    Article (6) Publication and Entry into Force of the Resolution This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and enter into force as of the day following the date of its publication.     Cabinet Resolution of 2024 Concerning the Fees for Services Provided by the Ministry Justice to Regulate the Translation Profession 4 List Annexed to Cabinet Resolution No. (21) of 2024 Concerning the Fees of Services Provided by the Ministry of Justice to Regulate the Translation Profession No. Service Description Service Fee in AED First: Services provided to translators: 1 Conducting or re-conducting a professional test for Translator. 300 for each test. 2 Issue Translator Registration in the List. 3,000 per (3) years. 3 Renew Translator Registration in the List. 3,000 per (3) years. 4 Add the Translator Language who is registered to the List. 3,000 per transaction 5 Re-registering Translator after cancelling their Registration in the List. 3,000 per transaction 6 Application to temporarily suspend practising the activity. 1,000, per application 7 Re-registering Translator in the List after temporarily suspending him, in cases where their Registration has not expired. 1,000 per transaction 8 Application to cancel Registration in the List. 500, per Application Second: Services provided to Local Translation Houses: 9 Issue Local Translation House Registration in the List. 5,000 per (3) years. 10 Renew Local Translation House Registration in the List. 5,000 per (3) years. 11 Re-registering Local Translation House after cancelling their Registration in the List. 5,000 per transaction

    Cabinet Resolution of 2024 Concerning the Fees for Services Provided by the Ministry Justice to Regulate the Translation Profession 5 12 Application to temporarily suspend Local Translation House Registration practising the activity. 1,500, per Application 13 Re-registering Local Translation House in the List after temporarily suspending it , in cases where their Registration has not expired. 1,500 per transaction 14 Application to cancel Registration in the List. 500, per application Third: Services provided to International Translation Houses: 15 Issue International Translation House Registration in the List. 10,000 per (3) years. 16 Renew International Translation House Registration in the List. 10,000 per (3) years. 17 Re-registering the International Translation House after cancelling their Registration in the List. 10,000 per transaction 18 Application to temporarily suspend International Translation House Registration practising the activity. 2,000, per application 19 Re-registering the International Translation House in the List after temporarily suspending it, in cases where their Registration has not expired. 2,000 per transaction 20 Application to cancel Registration in the List. 500, per application Fourth: Public Service 21 Add the Translation House language that is registered to the List. 5,000, per application 22 File a complaint against Translator or Translation House. 500, per application 23 Issuance of a certificate to whom it may concern. 200, per Application
