    Article (1) The above-mentioned Law No. (4) of 1994 is hereby repealed. Continuation in Force of the Local Penal Code

    Article 2

    Article (2) The Local Penal Code of 1970 will continue in force, to the extent that it does not contradict the above-mentioned Federal Law by Decree No. (31) of 2021, any other superseding legislation, or the legislation in force in the Emirate. ©2024 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1 Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict, the Arabic text will prevail.

    Article (3) This Law will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Ruler of Dubai Issued in Dubai on 1 March 2024 Corresponding to 20 Shaban 1445 A.H.
