    Article 1

    Article (1) Pursuant to this Law, Watani Al Emarat Foundation, established pursuant to the above- mentioned Law No. (7) of 2018, is dissolved. Formation of the Steering Committee

    Article 2

    Article (2) A steering committee (the “Steering Committee”) will be formed pursuant to a resolution of the Chairman of the Executive Council, to: ©2025 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1 Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict, the Arabic text will prevail.

    Law No. (27) of 2025 Dissolving Watani Al Emarat Foundation Page 2 of 3 1. determine the entities to which the functions, powers, rights, and obligations of the Foundation will be transferred; 2. determine the legal positions of the Foundation’s employees and the legislation to which they will be subject; 3. determine the legal positions of the real property, movable property, assets, devices, equipment, and other property of the Foundation; 4. determine the procedures for managing the financial appropriations allocated to the Foundation in its annual budget; and 5. address any other matters related to the Foundation, as determined by the Chairman of the Executive Council.     Article 3

    Article (3) a. The Steering Committee formed under Article (2) of this Law must coordinate with the concerned entities in the Emirate of Dubai to settle the Foundation’s affairs in compliance with the provisions of this Law, the resolutions issued in pursuance hereof, and other legislation in force in the Emirate of Dubai, within no later than three (3) months from the date on which this Law comes into force. b. The Chairman of the Executive Council may, where required, extend the time frame referred to in paragraph (a) of this Article for the period he deems appropriate. Repeals

    Article 4

    Article (4) a. Pursuant to this Law, the following pieces of legislation are repealed: 1. Law No. (7) of 2018 Establishing Watani Al Emarat Foundation; 2. Decree No. (30) of 2021 Forming the Board of Directors of Watani Al Emarat Foundation; and 3. Resolution No. (17) of 2018 Concerning the Organisational Subordination of Watani Al Emarat Foundation. b. Any provision in any other legislation is also hereby repealed to the extent that it contradicts the provisions of this Law.

    Article 5

    Article (5) This Law will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Ruler of Dubai Issued in Dubai on 22 October 2024 Corresponding to 19 Rabi al-Thani 1446 A.H.
