Article (1) Effective as of the date on which this Law comes into force, the duties and powers of the Dubai Economic Council (the “DEC”) under the above-mentioned Law No. (28) of 2007 are hereby transferred to the Department of Economic Development (the “DED”); and all the rights and obligations of the DEC are hereby transferred to the DED. Transfer of DEC Employees

Article (2) As of the effective date of this Law, all DEC Employees are hereby transferred to the DED. The transferred Employees will be placed on grades based on the Table of Grades and Salaries attached to the above-mentioned Government of Dubai Human Resources Management Law; and they will retain their existing rights. Repeals

Article (3) The above-mentioned Law No. (28) of 2007 is hereby repealed. Any provision in any other legislation will also be repealed to the extent that it contradicts the provisions of this Law. ©2020 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1 Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. Article (4) The Chairman of the Executive Council will issue the resolutions required for the implementation of the provisions of this Law. Publication and Commencement
