Article 1
Article (1) a. The DET is hereby determined as the competent entity in the Emirate of Dubai in charge of exercising all the duties and powers assigned to the Competent Authority under the above- mentioned Federal Law by Decree No. (6) of 2022 and the resolutions issued in pursuance thereof. In particular, the DET will be in charge of registering, licensing, and announcing the incorporation of Cooperatives; and overseeing and monitoring Cooperatives as well as their activities, Members, and shareholders. b. The DET may seek the assistance of public and private entities in exercising the duties and powers assigned to it under paragraph (a) of this Article.
