    Article (1) Article (9) of the above-mentioned Decree No. (32) of 2017 is hereby superseded by the following: Accounts and Financial Year of the HHC

    Article (2) This Decree comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette. ©2022 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1 Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict, the Arabic text will prevail.

    Article 9

    Article (9) a. In managing its accounts and records, the HHC will apply the rules and principles of government accounting. b. Contracts, agreements, bank remittances, and cheques will be signed; and account management instructions will be issued by the HHC to the concerned banks in the UAE, in accordance with the financial approval powers bylaw approved by the Director General. c. The Financial Year of the HHC will commence on 1 1January and will end on 31 December of each year. Commencement and Publication
