    Article 1

    Article (1) As of the effective date of this Law and for a period of six (6) months thereafter, the Preparatory Committee; the Dubai Expo 2020 Office established pursuant to the above-mentioned Decree No. (30) of 2014; and the Director General of the Dubai Expo 2020 Office appointed pursuant to the above-mentioned Decree No. (31) of 2014, will continue to exercise their duties and powers under the legislation in force in the Emirate as well as any other duties or powers assigned to them by the Ruler or the Chairman of the Executive Council. ©2022 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict, the Arabic text will prevail.

    Article 2

    Article (2) The period referred to in Article (1) hereof is renewable for the same period pursuant to a resolution of the Chairman of the Executive Council issued upon the recommendation of the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee. Sub-committees

    Article 3

    Article (3) The Chairman of the Preparatory Committee may determine the sub- committees whose tenure is required to continue for the period referred to in Article (1) of this Decree, or for any renewable period thereof. Commencement and Publication

    Article 4
