    Article (1) The Judicial Council of the Emirate of Dubai is hereby formed under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and with the membership of: 1. the Director of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai’s Court, as vice chairman; 2. the Attorney General of the Emirate of Dubai, as member; 3. the Director of the Dubai Courts, as member; 4. the Head of the Court of Cassation, as member; 5. the Head of the Court of Appeal, as member; 6. the Head of the Courts of First Instance, as member; and 7. the Director of the Judicial Inspection Department, as member. ©2018 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1Every effort has b een made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation.     Article (2) This Decree comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Ruler of Dubai Issued in Dubai on 1 November 2016 Corresponding to 1 Safar 1438 A.H.
