Article (1) The financial reward system for the reserve teacher in the female and male public schools shall be applied in accordance with the provisions set forth herein.

Article (2) 1. The candidates for the reserve teacher system, who have the required qualifications and specializations shall be selected in accordance with the conditions established by the Emirates School Education Corporation for such purpose, provided that the priority be given to citizens, then children of female citizens, and then citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. 2. In cases where the categories referred to in paragraph (1) are not available, the other nationalities may be employed to work under the reserve teacher system. 3. The reserve teachers shall be used to cover the resulting vacancies during the academic year and in the absence or unavailability of the principal teacher for any reason.

The human resources procedures approved by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources shall be observed by those who are chosen to work by virtue of the provisions hereof.

Article (3) 1. The reserve teacher shall be entitled to a financial reward for the working day or class, in accordance with the following table: School Stage/Subject Financial reward (AED) Maximum weekly quorum Working Day Class Working Day Class Kindergarten 500 5 Activities Subjects 100 30 Arabic Language - Islamic Education - First Field - History - Geography - Economics - Social Studies and Civic Education- Health Sciences - Life Skills 120 30 Mathematics - English - Physics - Chemistry - Biology - Science - Second Field - Special Education - Computer Science - Design and Technology - Business Management - Creative Design and Innovation 150 30 2. The number of classes shall not exceed (30) classes per week for the subjects and (5) working days for kindergartens. 3. The amount of the financial reward specified by virtue hereof shall be disbursed from the approved budget of the Emirates School Education Corporation.

Article (4) The Chairman of the Emirates School Education Corporation Board of Directors shall issue the necessary decisions to implement the provisions hereof, provided that such decisions include the mechanisms related to establishment of a database of the names of the reserve teachers; and the Chairman may add, delete or introduce any of the subjects referred to in Article (3), with the same value of the financial reward specified for each of the subjects of the activities and subjects.
