    Article 1

    Article (1) The administrative fines shall be imposed for violations of the provisions of Cabinet Resolution No. (61) of 2020 Regarding the Regulation of Installing Fire Detecting Devices in Residential Homes, as specified in the schedule attached to this Resolution.

    Article 2

    Article (2) 1. The administrative fines listed in the schedule attached to this Resolution shall be imposed in accordance with the rules regulating the procedures for recording violations and issuing warnings, as determined by a decision of the Minister of Interior. 2. The administrative fine may be doubled if the violation is repeated or continued before one year has passed from the date of committing the previous violation, provided that the amount of the fine upon repetition does not exceed double the original fine.

    Article 3

    Article (3) Any interested party may submit a written grievance to the Minister of Interior or their delegate against the fines referred to in this Resolution that have been imposed thereon, within (15) fifteen days from the date of being notified of the fine, provided that the grievance is reasoned and accompanied by all supporting documents. This grievance shall be decided upon within (30) thirty days from the date of its submission, and in accordance with the procedures in force at the Ministry of Interior.

    Article 4

    Article (4) The administrative fines set forth in this Resolution shall be collected by the means determined by the Ministry of Finance.

    Article 5

    Article (5) The Minister of Interior shall issue the decisions necessary for the implementation of the provisions of this Resolution.

    Article 6

    Article (6) Any provision that contradicts or conflicts with the provisions of this Resolution shall be repealed.

    Article 7

    Cabinet Resolution of 2020 Regarding Administrative Violations and Fines Resulting from the Violation of the Provisions of Cabinet Resolution of 2020 Regarding the Regulation of Installing Fire Detecting Devices in Residential Homes 4 Schedule of Administrative Violations and Fines Attached to Cabinet Resolution No. (85) of 2020 Regarding the Administrative Violations and Fines Resulting from the Violation of the Provisions of Cabinet Resolution No. (61) of 2020 Regarding the Regulation of Installing Fire Detecting Devices in Residential Homes First: Violations related to the owners of Private residential homes and houses: No. Violation Fine (AED) Procedure (Warning / Direct Violation) 1 Failure to install the fire protection system and its components. 1,000 Warning 2 Failure to maintain the fire protection system after the expiry of the warranty period. 500 Warning 3 Disabling, deactivating, damaging, removing, or making modifications to the fire protection system or any of its components. 1,000 Direct Violation 4 Failure to comply with the special conditions for installing the fire protection system approved by the General Directorate of Civil Defense. 500 Warning 5 Failure to subscribe to or renew the subscription for connecting the fire protection system with the operations rooms. 1,000 Warning 6 Failure to respond to the operations rooms' call to verify the validity of the alarm signal for the third time. 200 Warning 7 Failure to provide the contact data of the tenants and beneficiaries with the operations rooms, or to update it upon any change. 500 Warning
