Article 1
Article (1) a. The Board of Trustees of Suqia is hereby formed under the chairmanship of the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of DEWA, and with the membership of: 1. a representative from the Ministry of International Cooperation and Development, as member; 2. a representative from the UAE Red Crescent Authority, as member; 3. a representative from the United Arab Emirates University, as member; 4. a representative from Khalifa University of Science, Technology, and Research, as member; and 5. two (2) representatives from DEWA. The representatives of the entities referred to in paragraph (a) of this Article will be nominated by the officials in charge of such entities, and must be holders of senior positions in grades that are not lower than the ‘executive director/ chief executive officer’ grade or similar grades. c. Where the Board of Trustees of Suqia is not reconstituted upon expiry of the term of membership of the members mentioned in paragraph (a) of this Article, these members will continue to perform their duties until they are reappointed or replaced by new members.
