    Article 1

    Article (1) a. The Board of Directors of the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (“Centre”) will be formed under the supervision of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, and will be comprised of the following persons: 1. H.E. Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi Chairman 2. Sami Dhaen Al Qamzi Deputy Chairman 3. Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ghurair Director 4. Hussain Nasser Lootah Director 5. Dr. Hamad bin Al Shaikh Ahmed Al Shaibani Director 6. Abdulrahman Saif Al Ghurair Director 7. Hussain Dhaen Al Qamzi Director 8. Helal Saeed Al Marri Director 9. Essa Abdulfattah Kazim Director The Board of Directors will be appointed for a renewable term of three (3) years. b. Where the membership of the Directors mentioned in paragraph (a) of this Article expires and the board is not re-formed, the Directors will continue to perform their duties until they are reappointed or replaced by new directors.

    Article (2) In addition to his position as a director, Mr. Essa Abdulfattah Kazim will be appointed as secretary general of the Centre. ©2014 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1Every effort has b een made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation.     Article 3

    Article (3) This Decree comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Ruler of Dubai Issued in Dubai on 15 December 2013 Corresponding to 12 Safar 1435 A.H.
