Article (1) The Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai (the “Authority”) shall have the power to apply the above mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (21) of 2011 to any academic, professional or applied programmes of the educational institutions affiliated with the Government of Dubai to the extent that it does not contradict the establishing legislation of the requesting educational institution.

Article (2) The certificates issued by the educational institutions referred to in Article (1) of this Decree and whose academic, professional or applied programmes are subject to the above mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (21) of 2011, shall be recognised for all purposes by all public and private entities in the Emirate of Dubai provided that these certificates are attested by the Authority.

Article (3) This Decree shall come into force on the day on which it is issued, and shall be published in the Official Gazette. ©2014 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict the Arabic text shall prevail.
