Refund Policy

How LEXAI Works

LEXAI is a free advertising directory for verified UAE lawyers. We do not collect, hold, escrow, or process consultation payments. Lawyers list their own fees on their profile and clients pay lawyers directly, off-platform, at the rate the lawyer publishes.

Because LEXAI does not handle consultation payments, we do not issue refunds for consultations. Any dispute over fees, service quality, or scope of work is between the client and the lawyer.

Subscription Cancellations (Lawyers)

Lawyer subscription plans are billed monthly when paid tiers are active. During our founding period (currently in effect), all plans are free of charge.

When paid tiers activate:

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time from your billing settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then
  • No pro-rata refunds are issued for partial months
  • Downgrading to the Listed (free) tier takes effect at the end of the billing period

Complaints About a Lawyer

If you have a complaint about a lawyer you contacted through LEXAI — including concerns about their conduct, credentials, or service — please email info@lexaidxb.com with the lawyer's name, the date of your interaction, and a description of the issue.

We will review the complaint against our Lawyer Terms and Acceptable Use Policy and may suspend or remove the lawyer's profile from the directory. Note that LEXAI is not a party to any client-lawyer relationship and cannot recover fees paid directly to a lawyer.

For regulatory complaints about a lawyer's professional conduct, contact the licensing authority for the lawyer's jurisdiction:

  • Dubai (onshore): Dubai Legal Affairs Department — legal.dubai.gov.ae
  • Abu Dhabi (onshore): Abu Dhabi Judicial Department — adjd.gov.ae
  • DIFC: DIFC Courts — difccourts.ae
  • ADGM: ADGM Courts — adgmcourts.com
