    Article 1

    Article (1) As of the date on which this Law comes into force, the AJCCC will be transferred to the DCAA and incorporated as an organisational unit within the DCAA organisational structure approved under the above-mentioned Executive Council Resolution No. (7) of 2017. ©2020 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1 Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict, the Arabic text will prevail.

    Article 2

    Article (2) a. The following is hereby transferred to the DCAA: 1. the duties and functions assigned to the AJCCC under the above-mentioned Law No. (9) of 2013 and the legislation in force in the Emirate; 2. the ownership of the real property, movables, assets, devices, equipment, and other property of the AJCCC; 3. the employees of the AJCCC. They will be governed by the above-mentioned Law No. (8) of 2018 and will retain their existing rights; and 4. the financial appropriations allocated to the AJCCC in its annual budget. b. All rights and obligations of the AJCCC are hereby transferred to the DCAA. Issuing Implementing Resolutions

    Article 3

    Article (3) The Chairman of the Executive Council will issue the resolutions required for the implementation of the provisions of this Law. Repeals

    Article 4

    Article (4) a. The above-mentioned Law No. (9) of 2013 and its amendments and Decree No. (31) of 2013 are hereby repealed. b. Any provision in any other legislation will be repealed to the extent that it contradicts the provisions of this Law. c. The bylaws, regulations, and resolutions issued in implementation of the above-mentioned Law No. (9) of 2013 will continue in force to the extent that they do not contradict this Law and the regulations, resolutions, and bylaws relevant to the DCAA, until new superseding bylaws, regulations, and resolutions are issued.

    Article 5

    Article (5) This Law will be published in the Official Gazette, and will come into force on the day on which it is published. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Ruler of Dubai Issued in Dubai on 13 August 2020 Corresponding to 23 Thu al-Hijjah 1441 A.H.
