    Article 1

    Article (1) The Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai formed pursuant to the above-mentioned Decree No. (23) of 2015 is hereby reconstituted under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Ahmad bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and with the membership of: 1. the Secretary General of the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai; 2. the Chairman of the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation; 3. the Director General of the Dubai Municipality; 4. the Director General of the State Security Authority in Dubai; ©2022 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict, the Arabic text will prevail.

    Decree No. (48) of 2021 Reconstituting the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai Page 2 of 3 5. the Director General of the Department of Economy and Tourism in the Emirate of Dubai; 6. the Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry; 7. the Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre; 8. the Director General of the Dubai Development Authority; 9. the Director General of the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority; 10. the Executive Chairman of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority; 11. the Executive Chairman of the Dubai Aviation City Corporation; 12. the Executive Chairman of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority; 13. the Executive Chairman of the Meydan City Corporation; 14. the Vice Chairman of the International Humanitarian City Authority; and 15. the Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Healthcare City Authority. Repeals

    Article 2

    Article (2) a. Pursuant to this Decree, the following decrees are repealed: 1. Decree No. (23) of 2015 Forming the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai; 2. Decree No. (30) of 2015 Adding Members to the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai; 3. Decree No. (25) of 2018 Adding a Member to the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai; and 4. Decree No. (11) of 2020 Adding a Member to the Free Zone Council in the Emirate of Dubai. b. Any provision in any other legislation is hereby repealed to the extent that it contradicts the provisions of this Decree. Publication and Commencement

    Article (3) This Decree comes into force on 1 January 2022, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
