    Article (1) The Chairman of the Judicial Council of the Emirate of Dubai is hereby designated as the head of the local judiciary in the Emirate of Dubai for the purposes of implementing the federal legislation in force in the Emirate, particularly the above-mentioned Federal Law No. (11) of 1992 and Cabinet Resolution No. (57) of 2018. In this capacity, he will have the power to issue the resolutions and take the actions and measures assigned to the head of the local judiciary under the said legislation. Delegation of Powers

    Article 2

    Article (2) The Chairman of the Judicial Council may delegate the powers to issue resolutions and take actions and measures, as assigned to the head of the local judiciary under the federal legislation in force in the Emirate of Dubai, to the President of the Dubai Courts or the Attorney General of the Emirate of Dubai. ©2021 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1 Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict, the Arabic text will prevail.
