Article (1) As of the effective date of this Decree, all economic Establishments licensed by the DED are hereby exempted from the fines imposed on them for violating the local legislation related to the DED. Facilitating Licence Renewal Process

Article (2) Without prejudice to its obligation to pay any outstanding fees and fines to any other Government Entity in the Emirate of Dubai, the failure by an economic Establishment to pay any such fees or fines will not affect the renewal process of that Establishment’s licence by the ©2019 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict, the Arabic text will prevail.

Article (3) For an economic Establishment whose licence is expired to avail of the fine exemption and the licence renewal process facilitation stipulated in this Decree, such an Establishment must comply with the provisions hereof by renewing or cancelling its licence before the end of 2018.
