Article (1) The following words, wherever mentioned in this Decree, will have the meaning indicated opposite each of them unless the context implies otherwise: DHA: The Dubai Health Authority. DHCC: The Dubai Healthcare City. DHCA: The Dubai Healthcare City Authority. Article (3) Pursuant to this Decree, the following will be transferred to the DHCA: 1. ownership of the land plot referred to in Article (2) of this Decree. The land plot will be registered in the name of the DHCA as a grant from the Government of Dubai; 2. ownership of Al Jalila Hospital, including ownership of all buildings, facilities, equipment, devices, plans, and documents; and any other assets or material or moral rights associated with Al Jalila Hospital. The DHCA will not assume, towards the DHA or towards the contractors, suppliers, or any other party contracted by the DHA, any legal or financial liability that may arise from the contracts concluded by the DHA with them prior to the effective date of this Decree for the implementation of Al Jalila Hospital project; and 3. the human resources, including the physicians, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff working at Al Jalila Hospital by the effective date of this Decree. The transferred human resources will be governed by the relevant regulations and bylwas approved by the Board of Directors of the DHCA, without prejudice to their existing rights. The transfer will be made in accordance with the procedure agreed upon between the DHCA and the DHA. Obligations of the DHA

Article (4) For the purposes of this Decree, the DHA must: 1. take all the actions required for finalising the transfer of Al Jalila Hospital ownership to the DHCA;

Decree No. (30) of 2016 Concerning Al Jalila Children's Speciality Hospital Page 3 of 3 2. enable the DHCA to manage Al Jalila Hospital and supervise its facilities, equipment, devices, and employees; 3. deliver, to the DHCA, all plans, documents, and contracts pertaining to Al Jalila Hospital; 4. transfer all the financial appropriations allocated for the implementation of Al Jalila Hospital project for the financial year 2016, including employees’ salaries and entitlements; 5. assume all the legal and financial liabilities arising from the contracts concluded by the DHA, prior to the effective date of this Decree, with the Al Jalila Hospital project consultant, contractors, and suppliers; and 6. provide the technical and administrative support to the DHCA upon its request. This support must be provided pursuant to an agreement concluded by the DHA with the DHCA, which defines the scope of support and provides for the rights and obligations of the parties.
