Article (1) An economic Establishment whose licence has expired before 2012 is hereby exempted from the fines imposed on it pursuant to the local legislation related to the DED, which the DED is responsible for implementing, provided that this Establishment applies for cancellation of its licence within the time frame for benefiting from the exemption prescribed by this Decree. Article (2) Fines imposed on an economic Establishment pursuant to the local legislation related to the DED, which the DED is responsible for implementing, will be reduced in accordance with the percentages and time frames set out in the Schedule attached to this Decree, provided that this Establishment applies for renewal of its licence within the time frame for benefiting from the reduction prescribed by this Decree. ©2015 The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department 1Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. Article (3) The time frame for benefiting from the exemption and reduction prescribed by this Decree is six (6) months commencing from the date on which this Decree comes into force. The Director General of the DED may extend this time frame once only for the period of one (1) month. Publication and Commencement
