General UAE Legal Questions LawDecree No. (23) of 2001

Article (1) The Director General of the Dubai Municipality is hereby vested with the power to impose fees for using the services and facilities of public parks, and to make amendments to or grant exemptions from the fees prescribed by the cited local orders. The Director General or his authorised representative may enter into contracts with various individuals, entities, corporations, or companies to use public parks for holding public events, exhibitions, and recreational activities, in accordance with specific organisational and financial requirements.

Article (2) The Director General of the Dubai Municipality will issue the resolutions and bylaws required for the implementation of this Decree. ©2021 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1 Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation.
