    المادة 1

    Article (1) Definitions For the purpose of applying the provisions of this resolution, the following words and expressions shall bear the meaning indicated next to each of them, unless the context requires otherwise: Ministry : Ministry of Justice. Profession : The Notary Profession. Office : The office licensed by the Ministry for the private notary to practice the profession through it.

    Article (2) Fees for Services 1. In consideration of the transactions provided by the public notary and the services provided by the Ministry to the private notary, as indicated in the table attached herewith, the fees indicated next to each of them shall be charged. 2. With the exception of Items (16) and (17) of the table attached herewith, the private notary shall charge the fees prescribed in Clause (1) of this article, in addition to [30%] of the amount of fees prescribed as their professional fees.

    Article (3) Amendment of Fees The Cabinet shall have the exclusive authority to make any amendments to the fees contained in this resolution, whether by addition, deletion or modification.

    Article (4) Final Provisions 1. The fees described in this resolution shall be collected by the means determined by the Ministry of Finance. 2. For the purposes of collecting the fees described in this resolution, the part of a month shall be considered a full month, and the part of a year shall be considered a full year. 3. Federal or local government agencies shall be exempted from the fees mentioned in this resolution, however, such exemption shall not apply to the companies owned by these government agencies or in which the same holds equity stakes.

    Article (5) Repeals Cabinet Resolution No. (61) Of 2017 on the Fees for Transactions provided by the Notary Public and Fees for Services provided to the Private Notary, and any provision that contradicts or conflicts with the provisions of this resolution, shall all be repealed.

    Article (6) Publication and Entry into Force This resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force as of the day following the date of its publication. Type of Service Fees for Service in AED First: Services Provided by Public Notary 1. The execution of an instrument with a value of less than AED (50,000) (200) per signature of each party to the instrument. 2. The execution of an instrument with a value of not less than AED (50,000) and not exceeding AED (100,000) (300) per signature of each party to the instrument. 3. The execution of an instrument with a value exceeding AED (100,000) (0.5%) of the value of the instrument with a maximum of AED (15,000) per instrument. 4. The execution of an instrument with an unspecified value (200) per party to the instrument. 5. The notarization of an instrument with a value of less than AED (50,000) (200) per party to the instrment. 6. The notarization of an instrument with a value of not less than AED (50,000) and not exceeding AED (100,000) (300) per signature of each party to the instrument. 7. The notarization of an instrument with a value exceeding AED (100,000) (0.5%) of the value of the instrument with a maximum of AED (30,000) per instrument. 8. Authenticating the signatures in the instrument with unspecified value (200) per party to the instrument.

Execution or notarization of the general or special power of attorney (100) per party to the POA. 10. Establishing the date of a non-official document (200) 11. Notarizing any translation included in the instrument (50) for each page of the instrument 12. Executing and notarizing an affidavit (300) 13. Affixing the writ of execution’s text on the instrument (500) 14. An application to obtain a copy of any paper of the instrument related to the parties concerned and which is kept by the public notary or recorded in the registers (5) per page 15. Am application to obtain a certificate based on the registers or files of the notary (300) 16. An application for the notary to carry out a transaction outside their office in the following cases: a. Transactions related to a Muslim woman within the waiting period; b. Transactions related to people with disabilities; c. Transactions related to a person suffering from a disease which makes it impossible for them to appear before the notary. (200) per application 17. An application for the notary to carry out a transaction outside their office under emergency circumstances and other special cases as determined and approved by the Department Director or his authorized representative.
