Article (2) This Law comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Ruler of Dubai Issued in Dubai on 24 November 2013 Corresponding to 20 Muharram 1435 A.H.

Article (2) a. A Retiree may be appointed at any Government Entity, and will be governed by the human resources legislation applicable to the Employees of such Government Entity including those relating to promotion. b. To be reappointed in the same Government Entity from which a Retiree has been retired, at least one (1) year must have elapsed since his retirement. ©2015 The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai 1Every effort has been made to produce an accurate and complete English version of this legislation. However, for the purpose of its interpretation and application, reference must be made to the original Arabic text. In case of conflict the Arabic text will prevail.

المادة 4
Article (4) A Retiree who is appointed pursuant to this Law will be paid a monthly remuneration equal to the basic salary of the grade or military rank on which he is appointed, in addition to the benefits and bonuses of that grade or military rank. Throughout his service at the Government Entity, he will not receive the general allowance or similar allowances, nor will he receive the end-of-service gratuity at the end of his service.
