Article (1) H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum are hereby appointed as deputies to the Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai. Each Deputy Ruler will exercise the powers assigned to him by the Ruler.

Article (2) The above-mentioned Decree No. (2) of 1995 is hereby repealed.

Article (3) All competent entities must, in accordance with their respective powers, implement this Decree. This Decree comes into force on 1 February 2008, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
